Art House 2011 - extraordinary art in ordinary houses - Leicester

Once again I'll be participating in Art House an open house event over the weekend 11 & 12th June 2011. I'll be exhibiting new paintings and prints at 18 Ashfield Road. Please join the trail 11am-6pm which includes 9 houses all within walking distance and featuring Fine Art, Printmaking, Sculpture, Ceramics and Glass, Photography, Textiles and Jewellery .

All of the the work is by Leicester based artists.

Eight new paintings will be exhibited this coming weekend at The Landmark Arts Centre, Teddington, Surrey TW11 9NN 29 April to 2 May [Fri,Sat Sun10-5 and Mon 10-4].

The paintings explore the arrival of spring and some of them make reference to the beautiful coast of Harris, an island in the Outer Hebrides . All are mixed media on board.

At the end of March I spent a lovely four days on the beautiful North Norfolk coast and delivered work to a new gallery in Blakeney. My prints and cards are now stocked at Quay Art, 4 The Granary, High Street,Blakeney, Norfolk 01263 741791

Going back through my summer photos I've rediscovered these intensely coloured flowers against blocks of coloured and patterned fabrics.

I am currently exhibiting paintings and prints at Opus Gallery in Ashbourne www.opusgalleryashbourne.com the work will be there at least until the end of April but it may be there a few weeks beyond that.

In June 11 and 12 I will once again be showing new paintings at Art House, Leicester - more details to follow nearer the time.
